3. Learning & Student Responsibility

Learning and Progress:
The courses, programs and 1:1 sessions provided by Bianca Karrer and YourGerman / YourGerman1 are designed to support students in learning and improving their German language skills. The course materials and sessions may include explanations, vocabulary, grammar, exercises, audio materials, examples, and other learning resources intended to help students develop their German skills and advance in their learning.
The teacher provides the learning materials, guidance, explanations, and support necessary to help the student progress. However, the student is responsible for actively participating in the learning process and for practicing and applying the German language skills and knowledge presented in the courses or sessions.
The progress and results of each student may vary depending on factors such as individual effort, participation, practice, consistency, prior knowledge, and time dedicated to learning. Completion of a course or participation in 1:1 sessions does not guarantee a specific level of German proficiency or a specific learning outcome.
Students are encouraged to regularly review the material, complete the exercises, practice vocabulary and grammar, listen to and repeat the provided audio materials, and use the German language outside of the course or sessions in order to reinforce what they have learned.
The student is responsible for asking questions, communicating when additional clarification is needed, and informing the teacher if they are experiencing difficulties with the course or learning process. The teacher will make reasonable efforts to provide explanations and guidance to support the student's learning.
The courses and 1:1 sessions are intended for educational and language-learning purposes only and do not guarantee fluency, a specific examination result, employment, residency, or any other particular outcome.
